A story of a disfigured prostitute who is granted beauty until midnight in order to attend the ball, yet forgets it is daylight savings time and reverts to a scarred hooker in the middle of the ball
lyrics
Oh how I wish I could be at the ball
A dirty little princess, glass heels and all
I’ll find myself a prince, a charming little fuck
And dance the night way with the best of luck
That would be the dream, of any common whore
But because that I’m a bitch I want more more more!
I’ll see my fairy godmother, and what she’s got in store
To marry me a rich man, and eat his fucking soul
This guy is fucking loaded, a real good looker too
With all this money there’s nothing that I can’t do
But fuck it’s almost midnight, I really gotta go
I’ll leave you my glass slipper, so next time you will know
Run around the kingdom, knock from door to door
Use your fancy slipper, try it on every whore
The cinders that you follow, the ashes you will lay
You’ll only learn the truth, on our wedding day
My love, where you are now
This time, apart, has been too cruel
I searched, all night and day
And still, I do not know the truth
We march, WE MARCH, away, AWAY
But then I see what surely can’t be,
A hooker for hire, my bride she will be
But lo, I care not so
A princess inside is all I see
Come, away,
I’ll give you a life of glamour and fame
and all that I ask is you love me the same
Give, your hand
I swear in my faith, to never disgrace
and love you for life just show me your face!
Here you see, what happened to me
Beaten and scarred, burnt and diseased!
Cursed to the dark, Branded a freak
Banished aside, to work on the streets
I only know pain, anguish and hate
You say it’s not true? Just look at my face
You think I know love? There’s never a trace
You fuck, I’m Cinderhella!

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario

The second (03:01) I heard that angry bellow gurgling upwards as from the depths of hell, conquering the composition, rising in intensity, and climaxing more than half a minute later (a geyser of blood spouting up from Tartaros, breaching subterranean roofs and spewing forth onto the face of the earth), I was engrossed hook, line and sinker. Drawn into the underworldly dark. Vocal performances like these never fail to conjure a grin on my face. The Disillusioned One
